Ray Bedier

RAY BEDIER:

Ray joined Gary Waldron & Associates Inc after 25 years of sales & management experience in the media industry.

His successful sales career began in 1986 and after moving to Calgary with Q107FM, quickly established himself as a top revenue producer, culminating with the award for Sales Person of the Year in Canada.

Ray advanced his career in broadcasting, where he held positions of Sales Manager and Vice-President of Sales. He consistently was recognized for overachievements with both personal and organizational goals.

Ray is an international consultant specializing in Sales Process and management development. Ray concentrates on the specifics of what makes the process work. Delivering a "how to" approach for sales forces and key managers resulting in trackable and measurable improved performance.


TOM PIERCE

TOM PIERCE:

Tom brings over Thirty years of successful experience in Commercial Real Estate, Telecommunications, and the Oil & Gas industry. His professional skills encompass technical analysis, business development and senior management. Tom also has extensive knowledge in the disciplines such as business process management, information solutions, and software technologies that are pertinent in driving innovation. Furthermore, Tom's experience also includes providing complex solutions to the Drilling, Completions and Production areas of the Petroleum Industry.

Most recently, he was the Senior Manager of Business Development at Halliburton, the world's second-largest oil and gas service company, where he was responsible for all of Canada's Business Development and Marketing efforts, encompassing 8 product lines and approximately 50 sales and technical staff.

Throughout his career, Tom has been driving the importance of collaboration to create successful relationships and outcomes. Over the tenure of his career, Tom has worked in both client-side and sales-side roles in a variety of different responsibilities. He has led complex client engagements involving multiple product lines and encompassing contract negotiations valued in the hundreds of millions.

Tom has a Bachelor’s degree with a dual major in marketing and finance from the University of Alberta and Geological Technologist diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Tom is actively involved with multiple volunteer activities and he is on the Board of Governors at the Canadian Energy Executive Association (CEEA).


JIM McKINLAY

JIM McKINLAY:

Jim's depth of practical experience as a senior executive, an internal consultant, as well as an external consultant in a variety of private and public sector organizations over the past thirty years forms the foundation of his successful consulting practice. He has owned and operated his own successful strategic management consulting business since 1992. His track record of successful projects has produced an exceptionally high level of repeat business and referral business from past clients. Their high level of satisfaction with the results that are produced is testimony to the level of support Jim provides to them.


Jim specializes in the areas of Planning <-> People <-> Leadership <-> Change. His client roster includes government, private and not-for-profit sector organizations of all sizes across Canada. He has also consulted to large corporate clients in the USA, Australia, Jamaica, Hungary, South Africa and the UK. He has co-authored four books: "50 One-Minute Tips for Leaders" (2000), "Enterprise-Wide Change: Superior Results Through Systems Thinking" published by Jossey-Bass Publishers in 2004, "Reinventing Strategic Management – The Systems Thinking Approach" published by Systems Thinking Press in 2007 and "The ART of People Management in Libraries" published by Chandos Publishing in Oxford UK in 2010.

TONY SCAFFEO

TONY SCAFFEO:

Tony Scaffeo has over 30 years of retail sales, process sales training and management expertise . His successful career began with Soundsaround Inc, a 4 location consumer electronics retail chain in Calgary, Alberta, where he quickly established himself as the top revenue producer per store front in Canada. Under his leadership, Soundsaround grew from annual sales of $5 million to over $40 million. The company's annual sales event, The 12 hour Liquidation Sale, garnered an impressive $4 million in sales from a single location in 1 day, which is a sales record in Canada. Mr. Scaffeo advanced his career at Soundsaround where he held positions of General Manager and Vice President before joining Best Buy Canada as the Vice-President of Business Development. In 2013, Tony joined with the McManes Group and devoted his talents to developing a high performance Training program for the Automotive industry which led to exceeding yearly budgets.

PETER GIROUX:

Peter studied finance and accounting at university. After graduation, he joined Deloitte, Touché to article as a Chartered Accountant. Peter become Executive Director of the "Old Timers Hockey Association" and built it into one of Canada's largest sports organizations. His marketing experience has been a welcome addition to our Firm.

Peter is currently breaking exciting ground with John Deere Industrial. John Deere has established a position for their Dealers—Customer Service Advisors. Their role is to handle customer concerns in assigned accounts as well as sell service capacity and outside parts. Peter designed these programs for John Deere and is currently facilitating them throughout North America. Peter has also developed a complete sales training program for Nesbitt Burns.
